Siman 624

Presented here for study, not as a practical ruling. The Shulchan Aruch rules by Sephardi custom, the Rema's glosses by Ashkenazi custom, and the Kitzur follows Ashkenazi custom. For a practical question, ask your rabbi.

1 The Order of Motzaei Yom Kippur and in it is 5 paragraphs. (The Congregation) prays the Maariv Prayer and says Havdala in Chonen HaDaas (4th blessing, who gives knowledge).
2 It is necessary to add from the secular (i.e. weekday) on to the Holy (Yom Kippur) also in exiting, so we wait a little after the stars come out (to conclude Yom Kippur).
3 (The Congregation) does Havdala on the cup (of wine) but does not bless on spices even if it (Yom Kippur) took place on Shabbos.
4 (The Congregation) blesses on the Flame. Yet, they do not bless on Motzaei Yom Kippur on a flame that started now (after Yom Kippur) from stones. But, there are those that say They bless on it from the first column (of flame) and on (i.e. by lighting a flame from a flame made after Yom Kippur, it is no longer considered a new flame to this opinion.)
5 A Jew that lights from a Gentile, They do not bless on it on Motzaei Yom Kippur even though on Motzaei Shabbos, They do bless on it. Because They do not bless on Motzaei Yom Kippur except a flame that rested from before the day (of Yom Kippur) literally or a flame that was lit from it (a rested flame). And similar is one accustomed to light from Synagogue lanterns; furthermore, even if lit on Yom Kippur, if lit in a permitted matter like for a sick person, they are able to bless on it.
